Job summary

Ascension St. Vincent Kokomo is hiring an Evening Shift Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department in Kokomo, IN.

This full-time role requires leading urgent care plans, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and executing clinical orders with precision to ensure patient safety. You will manage complex discharge plans and help patients transition to the next level of care while upholding Ascension’s standards of care and patient experience.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Indiana required prior to hire.
• BLS Provider within 1 month of hire date.
• ACLS or PALS certification preferred.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • One or more of the following:
    • Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
    • Pediatric Advanced Life Support obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required. OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
