How you’ll make an impact in this role
- Lead daily nursing operations to ensure high-quality patient care and seamless access across the department.
- Empower and direct clinical staff by assigning duties tailored to individual skills, maximizing team strengths and supporting professional growth.
- Hire, mentor and evaluate team members to cultivate a high-performing, compassionate workforce dedicated to patient satisfaction.
- Drive clinical quality initiatives and process audits to continuously improve patient outcomes and uphold high care standards.
- Collaborate with leadership to update departmental workflows and maintain compliance with evolving health care practices.
What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross Accepted.
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross Accepted.
- Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation preferred.
Education
- Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experience required.
- At least 5 years of Emergency nursing experience strongly preferred
- Prior leadership experience strongly preferred
- BSN preferred, or plan in place to receive
- National Certification preferred
