Overview

Regions Hospital is looking to hire an exceptional, patient-focused Registered Nurse to join our Float Pool and make a difference for our patients and our community.

Float Pool RNs

Float Pool RNs will work on a variety of inpatient clinical units:

• Med/Surg RN's: orthopedics, rehabilitation, oncology, cardiology, observation, medicine, neurology, surgical, trauma, burn, postpartum
• Progressive RN's: cardiac, medicine, burn, trauma, neurology, surgical

Work Schedule

This position is straight nights at 0.7 - 0.9 FTE (56-72 hours per pay period) with the specific FTE discussed at the time of interview based on departmental needs.

Weekend Rotation

Weekend requirements will include a rotation of every other or every third weekend, to be determined and discussed during the interview process to ensure alignment with unit needs and expectations.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree or Associate Degree in Nursing and 1 year of RN experience
• Internal new graduate applicants can meet minimum requirements with an Associate Degree in Nursing
• Licensed as a registered nurse by the State of Minnesota
• CPR for the professional rescuer or BLS for healthcare providers
• Must have exceptional interpersonal skills and strong ability to work with a wide range of patients from varied cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds

Preferred Qualifications

• BSN/MSN strongly preferred and generally expected to be obtained within 5 years of hire
• One year of acute care RN experience is preferred
