Job summary

Ascension Medical Group is seeking a Registered Nurse to perform interrogations and evaluations on cardiac devices, including pacemakers, defibrillators, and loop recorders. The role supports device RNs, device technicians, and EP physicians to coordinate patient care.

Based in Elk Grove Village, IL, this full-time, day-shift position requires weekly travel to Hoffman Estates. A Diploma in nursing and Illinois RN licensure are required, with BLS certification within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Must have RN experience in Device or Tele
• BLS Provider within 1 month of hire date (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted)
• Registered Nurse credential from the Illinois Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date
• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required or required professional licensure at time of hire

Responsibilities

• Perform interrogations and evaluations on cardiac devices, including pacemakers, defibrillators, and loop recorders
• Monitor and process remote device interrogations and high-priority clinical alerts efficiently
• Collaborate closely with device RNs, device technicians, and electrophysiology (EP) physicians to coordinate patient care
• Maintain accurate documentation of device function and transmission findings to ensure continuity of care
• Weekly travel to Hoffman Estates location

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):
• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education
