Ascension Saint Joseph in Chicago, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cath Lab to provide direct patient care in a PRN/day shift. You will administer orders, monitor patient conditions, document care, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support discharge planning.

Required is an Illinois RN license and BLS, with a nursing diploma. Preference given to candidates with cath lab experience and commitment to high-quality patient care.

Qualificações

• BLS Provider within 1 month of hire date.
• RN credential from Illinois Board of Nursing required.
• Diploma from an accredited nursing program.
• One year RN cath lab experience preferred.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Deliver direct patient care by administering physician and nursing orders, implementing care plans, and following established organizational policies.
• Monitor and document patient conditions, continuously updating the healthcare team on changes and response to treatment.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary care and manage patient discharge planning in collaboration with the healthcare team.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Illinois Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

Additional Preferences

• One year RN cath lab experience.
