Job summary

Ascension in Elk Grove Village, IL, is seeking a Day shift, Full-time Nurse Manager to coordinate nursing program activities, resources, and care plans within a clinical department. The role oversees program implementation, enforces standards, and supervises nursing staff to ensure care plans are followed and resources secured.

Requirements include a nursing diploma or active RN licensure in Illinois, BLS within 30 days, and ACLS preferred. Cardiac experience and LVAD familiarity are aPlus.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date required.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Illinois Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date.
• Advanced Life Support preferred.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Illinois Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

• Experience with LVAD desired
