Job summary

Ascension is seeking an experienced Nurse Manager to coordinate unit staffing and deliver high-quality patient care at Ascension Alexian Brothers in Elk Grove Village, IL. This day shift, full-time role requires strong leadership, staff development, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to meet clinical objectives.

You will oversee nursing and support staff, participate in hiring and training, assess care needs, and address patient care concerns through established channels.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider within 30 days of hire date.
• Registered Nurse credential from the Illinois Board of Nursing prior to hire date.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Illinois Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
