Ascension is seeking a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our inpatient Cardiothoracic team at an Elk Grove Village hospital. This role is supported by a strong referral base and the broader Ascension health system.

Join an established Cardiothoracic team of 6 Physicians and 3 APPs in an inpatient setting with no call and a busy, high-quality service in one convenient location.

Competenze

• Board-certified NP/PA with ability to obtain Illinois license
• DEA registration preferred
• Inpatient cardiothoracic experience preferred
• Masters of Nursing required

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Credentials are verified by local staff credentialing office
• Drug Enforcement Admin credentialed from the Drug Enforcement Administration preferred.
• Registered Nurse preferred. Verified by local credentialing office.

Education

• Master's degree of Nursing required.
