Job summary

Ascension in Elk Grove Village, IL is seeking a registered nurse to provide direct patient care, implement and monitor care plans, and coordinate across disciplines to deliver seamless, well-coordinated patient care.

You will participate in discharge planning and ensure orders are communicated and followed, with an emphasis on safety, policy compliance, and excellent patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• RN credential from Illinois Board of Nursing required.
• Diploma from an accredited nursing program or equivalent licensure.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Illinois Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

Additional Preferences

• Previous hospital nursing experience needed.
