Job summary

Ascension Health in Carmel, IN is hiring a Registered Nurse for Cardiac Services at Ascension St. Vincent Heart Center. This PRN Nights position involves three 12-hour shifts in a six-week cycle and supports a high-acuity inpatient cardiac unit.

You will implement and monitor patient care plans, coordinate multidisciplinary care, and ensure smooth discharge planning. Requirements include a Diploma in Nursing, RN licensure, BLS, and Advanced Life Support, with a minimum of two years in Cardiac

• Must have at least 2 years current Cardiac Critical Care nursing experience in a high acuity inpatient hospital.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

• Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

• Preferred Credential(s):

• Advanced Life Support. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required. OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

Additional Preferences:

• Must have at least 2 years current Cardiac Critical Care nursing experience in a high acuity inpatient hospital.
