Ascension St. Vincent Heart Center in Carmel, IN is seeking a Registered Nurse for a part-time day shift, working 2 days per week from 7:00am to 7:00pm, with every 3rd weekend rotation.

You will implement and monitor patient care plans, serve as primary coordinator of multi-disciplinary care, ensure orders are carried out, and assist with discharge planning. • BLS certification required within 1 month of hire.
• RN license issued by Indiana Board of Nursing required prior to hire.
• Diploma from accredited nursing program or equivalent licensure.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Implement and monitors patient care plans. Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
• Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

Required Credential(s)

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
