Job summary

Ascension St. Vincent Heart Center in Carmel, IN seeks a part-time Day shift RN to provide compassionate patient care in the Emergency Room and across cardiac services.

The role emphasizes coordinating with interdisciplinary teams to implement care plans and ensure timely, safe patient discharge planning. Requirements include an nursing diploma and RN licensure, with ACLS and BLS on hire; pediatric advanced life support preferred where applicable.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required prior to hire or transfer.
• ACLS and BLS required on hire.
• Preferred Pediatric Advanced Life Support is not specified; ADA-compliant certifications may be considered.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s): Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• One or more of the following: ACLS and BLS upon hire.

• Preferred Credential(s): Pediatric Advanced Life Support. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required. OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

Additional Preferences:

• Prefer current or previous Emergency Room experience.
