Job summary

Ascension is hiring an RN at St. Vincent Carmel Hospital in Carmel, IN. This PRN night shift position sits in the Med Surg Progressive Care unit.

You will implement and monitor patient care plans, coordinate care across disciplines, and carry out physician/nursing orders while assessing patient needs with the healthcare team. Minimum RN licensure in Indiana and a current BLS are required. Two years of RN experience is preferred; the role emphasizes collaboration, high-quality patient outcomes,

Qualifications

• Diploma from an accredited nursing program.
• Registered Nurse licensure from Indiana prior to hire.
• BLS Provider with 30 days of hire date.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Or Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR required professional licensure at time of hire.

Additional Preferences

• At least two years of current RN experience is highly preferred.
