Job summary

Ascension Health in Carmel, IN is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Cardiac Services team at Ascension St. Vincent Heart Center. This PRN Days position features three 12-hour shifts over six weeks and a collaborative, patient‑centered environment.

You will implement and monitor care plans, coordinate multidisciplinary care, and assist with discharge planning. Requirements include an RN license and BLS (within 30 days); ACLS preferred; a nursing diploma is required; minimum two years of

How you’ll make an impact in this role

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

• Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

• Preferred Credential(s):

• Advanced Life Support. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required. OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

Additional Preferences:

• Must have at least 2 years current Cardiac nursing experience in a high acuity inpatient hospital.
