Job summary

Community Health Resources, Inc. in Willimantic, CT seeks a Registered Nurse Coordinator for the REST Center to provide clinical leadership and supervision of the nursing team.

You will oversee nursing services, staff scheduling, policy development, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to maintain trauma-informed, recovery-focused care. Requirements include an RN license, a qualifying nursing degree, and 2+ years in behavioral health with supervisory experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Qualifying Nursing Degree that meets RN certifications and requirements.
• 2+ years’ experience with individuals with behavioral health conditions. Supervisory experience preferred.
• Registered Nurse license required.
• Maintains training on advances in the field.

Responsibilities

• Provides supervision and mentoring to RNs and LPNs, including education, training and performance management.
• Provides nursing assessment and clinical interventions for clients with behavioral health needs.
• Provides individual and group psychoeducation and crisis intervention as needed.
• Develops and implements nursing policies and procedures.
• Oversees operations: scheduling staff and reviewing orders.
• Maintains standards of care and ensures regulatory compliance.
