Job summary

Ascension Premier Staffing - Cath Lab is seeking a Cardiovascular Technician to assist with diagnostic and treatment procedures, review medical histories, and prepare testing sites. You will monitor patients, interpret results, and ensure lab safety and equipment functionality before, during, and after procedures.

Requirements include BLS within 30 days, CCIs/ARRT/ARDMS credentials prior to hire, and ALS preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
• BLS Provider within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date; AHA or Red Cross accepted.
• One or more of the following required: CCI CVIS, CCI Cardiographic Tech, ARRT Radiologic Technologist (Radiography), ARDMS Cardiac Sonographer; all obtained prior to hire date or transfer date.
• Advanced Life Support preferred; AHA or Red Cross accepted.
• Approved Local Exception preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with diagnostic and treatment procedures, reviewing medical histories, and preparing testing sites.
• Interpreting test results, correcting recording errors, and monitoring patients for abnormal findings before, during, and after procedures.
• Ensuring the lab and equipment are clean, orderly, and functional, including reporting malfunctions and performing lock/tag-out procedures.

Education

• Gross rate up to $4,066 per week

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Assisting with diagnostic and treatment procedures, reviewing medical histories, and preparing testing sites.
• Interpreting test results, correcting recording errors, and monitoring patients for abnormal findings before, during, and after procedures.
• Ensuring the lab and equipment are clean, orderly, and functional, including reporting malfunctions and performing lock/tag-out procedures.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• One or more of the following required:
  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Cardiac Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Approved Local Exception preferred.

Education And Work Experience

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
