Ascension is seeking a Registered Nurse for an Associate and Occupational Health role at St. Vincent’s in Indianapolis, IN. The position is full-time, Monday–Friday, 7:30am–4pm, within the Occupational Health department.

You will provide care for job-related injuries, conduct pre-employment screenings, and support safety training efforts. Qualified candidates hold Indiana RN licensure and a nursing diploma or equivalent licensure; BLS within 30 days is required.

Qualificações

• RN licensure in Indiana required.
• Diploma from an accredited nursing program or equivalent licensure at time of hire.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Provide treatment for job related injuries and illnesses.
• Conduct pre‑employment health screenings and immunization clinics.
• Ensure compliance with applicable workplace safety laws and regulations. May also conduct safety training programs.
• Provide employee counseling and referrals for occupational injuries and illnesses as well as other health‑related matters.
• Monitor trends and causes of employee safety events and work with colleagues to identify areas of safety risk.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Licensure required relevant to state in which work is performed.
• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
