Ascension in Milwaukee, WI is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Associate and Occupational Health team. The role supports job-related injury treatment, pre-employment screenings, safety compliance, counseling, and risk reduction. The position is full-time, Monday–Friday, days, at St Joseph Hospital.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Provide treatment for job related injuries and illnesses.
• Conduct pre-employment health screenings and immunization clinics.
• Ensure compliance with applicable workplace safety laws and regulations. May also conduct safety training programs.
• Provide employee counseling and referrals for occupational injuries and illnesses as well as other health-related matters.
• Monitor trends and causes of employee safety events and work with colleagues to identify areas of safety risk.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Licensure required relevant to state in which work is performed.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
• Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri from 7am-4:30pm.
• Occasional evenings and Saturdays during flu and respirator fit testing clinics.
