Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a Registered Mammography Technologist for Fairfield Hospital. You will perform screening, diagnostic, invasive and DEXA breast imaging procedures under ARRT guidelines and MQSA standards, with collaboration from supervising physicians.

The role requires ARRT in Diagnostic Radiology, Mammography registration preferred, and state licensure as applicable. Join a team focused on patient-centered care within a supportive Mercy Health environment.

Qualifications

• ARRT Certification in Diagnostic Radiology (required)
• Advanced Mammography modality registration (preferred or within 1 year)
• State licensure (preferred depending on state)
• BLS from American Heart Association (required at hiring for some Mercy Health locations; others require prior to patient care)

Responsibilities

• Performs all breast imaging and DEXA procedures.
• Assists radiologist in invasive breast procedures with aseptic technique.
• Correlates clinical history with procedures and documents information for licensed provider.
• Operates breast imaging equipment and exposure factors to obtain quality images.
• Applies radiation safety principles to minimize exposure to patients and staff.
