Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Regional Sector Leader for Water Supply & Watershed Management in the US North to lead strategic growth, deliver complex projects, and mentor top talent.

You will engage with clients, shape technical differentiators, and collaborate across business lines; a Bachelor’s degree in water resources engineering or related field, 15+ years of experience, and professional registration are required, with willingness to travel across North America.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in water resources engineering, civil/environmental engineering, hydrology, hydrogeology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Advanced degree preferred.
• 15+ years of directly relevant experience.
• Professional certification/registration (PE, PH, PG, etc.) in appropriate area of expertise.

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in multi‑disciplinary teams conducting water resources planning projects throughout the US North Region.
• Perform and/or lead technical evaluations supporting the planning and design of integrated water supply and infrastructure projects.
• Strong technical skills and knowledge of water resources/water supply, including water source availability, source water quality, watershed health, infrastructure capabilities, natural infrastructure, and future water demands.
• Lead and grow the sector through strategic development and client engagement across North America.
