Job summary

Stantec in the United States seeks a Regional Sector Leader for Water Supply & Watershed Management to guide US North projects and develop our technical capabilities. You will lead multi-disciplinary teams, engage clients, and drive strategic growth across the region.

Based in the US North, you will travel to meet clients and participate in industry associations, shaping policy, standards, and best practices while mentoring top talent within the practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in water resources engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 15+ years of directly relevant experience in water resources/watershed management.
• Professional certification/registration (PE, PH, PG, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to internal water supply and watershed management practitioners.
• Lead business development, engage strategic clients, and expand client base.
• Recruit, retain, and mentor a multi-level team with strong technical skills.
• Lead multi-disciplinary teams on water resources planning projects across US North.
