Job summary

The Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development invites applications for Veterans Employment Services Regional Supervisor, overseeing JVSG programs and supervising LVERs/DVOPS across a designated region. The role emphasizes collaboration with internal and external partners.

This hybrid remote position offers two remote days per week and is located at an OVES office near the selected candidate's home and within Wisconsin. Travel within the state is occasional.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience overseeing teams or workgroups
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and reporting
• Delivering presentations or trainings to groups
• Collaborating with internal staff and partners to provide programs
• Applying case management principles (coordinating and documenting services)

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director in planning and coordinating the JVSG program
• Supervise Local Veteran Employment Representatives (LVERs) and DVOPS
• Monitor regional performance and ensure goals are met
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to deliver veteran services
• Support training and performance evaluation activities for staff
