Job summary

Union Pacific Corporation is seeking a Track Laborer - Regional in Limon, CO. The role focuses on keeping railroad tracks safe and reliable, performing maintenance, repairs, and installations within the designated territory.

Qualified candidates must be at least 21 years old, hold a CDL (Class A or B), and pass an English assessment. Medical and MVR checks per FMCSA apply, with a PAT required prior to employment. This is a physically demanding, on-site position with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Hold a valid CDL (Class A or B).
• MVR review required; FMCSA medical qualification may apply and final determination rests with Health and Medical Services at Union Pacific Railroad.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with coworkers, supervisors, contractors and/or customers.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, FRA requirements, and operational guidelines.
• Responsible for handling and transporting track materials and equipment using appropriate load/unload devices.
• Perform regular maintenance, repairs, and installation tasks on tracks and components.
• Assist with ballast removal, tamping, and unloading ballast from ballast cars.
• Operate equipment safely to drive spikes, tighten/loosen track bolts, and use pullers to remove spikes.
