Job summary

Nokian Tyres is seeking a Regional Sales Representative to drive replacement market sales for passenger cars and light trucks in a Vermont-based territory. You will operate mainly from a home office, traveling to customers, dealers and fleets in your assigned region.

The role requires 3+ years of outside sales experience, strong CRM/communication skills, and the ability to travel up to 75%. A competitive benefits package is provided along with 401(k) and insurance offerings.

Qualifications

• 3+ years outside sales experience, preferably within the tire or automotive industry.
• Demonstrated analytical, decision making, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
• Excellent listening, consultation, negotiation and presentation abilities.
• Proficient with MS-Office application suite and Salesforce / CRM applications.

Responsibilities

• Identify and target potential clients through research and networking.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
• Present, promote, and sell products/services to prospective and existing customers.
• Provide excellent customer service and support.
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and competitors.
• Engage customers through superior product and service offerings as well as demonstrated product expertise.
• Utilizing CRM tools, market analysis and other intelligence; monitor territory’s sales by customer.
• Resolve territory and customer specific operational issues, respond to customer inquiries
• Uphold Nokian Tyres mission and values, and demonstrate supporting behaviors in day-to-day actions.
• Other duties as assigned.
