Job summary

Nokian Tyres seeks a Regional Sales Representative to drive sales in the replacement market for passenger cars and light trucks. You will operate in a defined territory, traveling to dealers and fleets, often from a home office, and serve as a trusted advisor on Nokian Tyres products and services.

The role requires 3+ years outside sales experience in automotive adjustments, strong communication skills, and the ability to travel extensively within the region.

Qualifications

• 3+ years outside sales experience, preferably within the tire or automotive industry.
• Analytical, decision making, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
• Excellent listening, consultation, negotiation and presentation abilities.
• Proficient with MS-Office application suite and Salesforce/CRM applications.
• Ability to travel 75% within the assigned region, by air or car.
• Must possess a valid state driver’s license.
• Must be authorized to work in the US without a visa or other sponsorship.
• Reside or be willing to self-relocate to Vermont.

Responsibilities

• Identify and target potential clients through research and networking.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
• Present, promote, and sell products/services to prospective and existing customers.
• Provide excellent customer service and support.
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and competitors.
• Engage customers through superior product and service offerings as well as demonstrated product expertise.
• Utilize CRM tools, market analysis and other intelligence; monitor territory’s sales by customer.
• Resolve territory and customer specific operational issues, respond to customer inquiries
• Uphold Nokian Tyres mission and values, and demonstrate supporting behaviors in day-to-day actions.
• Other duties as assigned.
