Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience managing teams in a telecom environment.
• Experience in employee development including training and coaching in a union setting.
• Proficient with Excel, email, Word, and legacy systems.
• Knowledge of residential/business services and splicing/construction in telecom.
• Ability to work consultatively and deliver customer-focused solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; 5+ years related experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operation of outside and inside plant network services and technicians.
• Serve as liaison between Forged Fiber and Contractors to resolve issues.
• Lead training, coaching and development on new processes and quality standards.
• Lead a team of technicians to meet attendance and performance standards.
• Represent Forged Fiber with customers and governmental agencies.
• Collaborate with the union to achieve positive working relationships.
• Celebrate successes and drive continuous improvement.
• Motivate the team to achieve maximum performance.
