Qualifications

• 4+ years managing telecom technical teams.
• Experience in employee development including training and coaching in a union environment.
• Proficient with Excel, email, Word and legacy systems.
• Knowledge of residential and business services, Local Network processes.
• Understanding of splicing and construction processes in telecom.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation of outside and inside plant network services and technicians for residential, business, central office, as well as design and splicing activities.
• Serve as single point of contact between Forged Fiber and contractors to resolve issues during construction and/or maintenance.
• Lead training, coaching and development to meet new processes and quality standards, customer contact, safety, expense control and technical skills.
• Lead a team of technicians who meet attendance and performance standards.
• Represent Forged Fiber with customers and governmental agencies.
• Collaborate with the union to achieve a win‑win working relationship.
• Celebrate successes, use rewards and recognition appropriately.
• Motivate team for continuous improvement and maximum performance.
