Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience.
• 5+ years related experience.
• Experience managing teams within a telecom environment.
• Experience with employee development and coaching in a union setting.
• Proficient with Excel, email, Word, and legacy systems.
• Understanding of residential/business service installs and Local Network processes.
• Knowledge of splicing/construction in telecom and contractor relations.
• Ability to consult with stakeholders, present options and follow up with customers.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operation of outside/inside plant network services and technicians.
• Serve as the single contact between Forged Fiber and Contractors.
• Lead training, coaching and development for processes, safety and skills.
• Lead a team of technicians meeting attendance and performance standards.
• Represent Forged Fiber with customers and governmental agencies.
• Collaborate with the union to maintain productive relationships.
• Celebrate successes and drive continuous improvement.
• Motivate team for maximum performance.
