Job summary

Cogent Communications is hiring for an in-office Regional Sales role in Dallas, TX. You will identify new business opportunities, prospect aggressively, and coordinate with management to close deals on high-value connectivity solutions.

You’ll earn a base salary of $40,000–$50,000 per year plus commissions tied to monthly recurring charges, with potential to reach $75,000+ for tenure-based performance. This role requires strong communication and Excel/MS Office proficiency and a fast-paced team

Qualifications

• 0-2+ years of solid sales experience.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment with revenue deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Identify new business opportunities within a prescribed Regional Sales Territory via high-volume calling and emailing.
• Strategize with Sales Management on selling into large commercial and retail buildings.
• Complement prospecting with fieldwork such as building walks and face-to-face meetings.
• Educate customers on Cogent connectivity solutions using consultative selling techniques.
• Maintain updated records in the CRM system and meet monthly revenue targets.
