Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Regional Engineering Supervisor in the United States to support the Senior Engineering Manager in managing Engineering Studies and Protection & Controls businesses. The role reports for execution and leads efforts to maintain and grow the engineering units.

Responsibilities include leading a team of engineers, driving pipeline growth with Sales, and providing accurate forecasting across projects. Travel is expected around 25% and collaboration with global teams is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Engineers focused on professional engineering services such as studies and protection and controls.
• Drive pipeline growth, execute orders to generate sales and provide accurate forecasting.
• Lead backlog reviews and ensure closure by accountable parties.
• Assist Sales with customer meetings or communicating schedule changes.
• Assist in project scope reviews and provide pricing feedback.
• Mentor team members and provide learning opportunities.
• Communicate with stakeholders regarding financials, status and regional needs.
• Ensure team has training and tools to be successful.
• Monitor costs and margins to reduce slippage.
• Coordinate with Manila team for project execution and related tasks.
• Open, assign, and invoice jobs via COE Admin and Service Center Managers.
• Primary point of contact for Engineering COE issues.
