Job summary

Smith+Nephew is seeking five Spatial Surgery Development Managers to drive commercialization of the TESSA platform across the Northeast, South, Central, West and Mid-Atlantic regions. You will lead market development, customer engagement, opportunity creation and pipeline management, while training surgeons and staff and ensuring flawless trial prep and onboarding from clinical and technical perspectives.

Expect up to 90% travel; base compensation is complemented by commissions and bonuses as

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of orthopedic medical device sales experience. Sports medicine, capital equipment including video, robotics, navigation, or enabling technology sales experience is strongly preferred.
• Strong clinical, presentation, communication and relationship-building skills required.
• Demonstrated ability to engage and align diverse stakeholders, including surgeons, administrators, and executives preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accelerate commercialization, adoption and utilization of Smith+Nephew’s spatial surgery platform, TESSA across a defined geographic region.
• Market development, customer engagement, opportunity creation, pipeline management and sales execution.
• Business planning to exceed revenue and sales targets and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
• Train and certify surgeons, staff and reps; ensure flawless trial preparation, execution and onboarding from clinical and technical perspectives.
