Job summary

Smith+Nephew is seeking a Spatial Surgery Development Manager to accelerate commercialization of the TESSA spatial surgery platform across five regions in the Northeast, South, Central, West and Mid-Atlantic. You will drive market development, customer engagement, opportunity creation and sales execution to exceed regional targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of orthopedic medical device sales experience; sports medicine, capital equipment including video, robotics, navigation, or enabling technology sales strongly preferred.
• Strong clinical, presentation, communication and relationship-building skills.
• Demonstrated ability to engage and align diverse stakeholders, including surgeons, administrators, and executives.

Responsibilities

• Accelerate commercialization, adoption and utilization of Smith+Nephew’s first-to-market spatial surgery platform, TESSA across a defined geographic region.
• Market development, customer engagement, opportunity creation, pipeline management and sales execution.
• Business planning to exceed revenue and sales targets, building and maintaining a healthy sales pipeline.
• Training and certifying surgeons, staff and reps, ensuring flawless trial preparation, execution and customer onboarding experiences from a clinical and technical perspective.
• Report to the Area Vice President of Sales – Service & Enabling Technology.
