GitLab is seeking a Senior Manager, SME Solutions Architecture to build and lead a regional team covering four product groups: Security & Compliance, Platform, Core DevSecOps, and AI & Competitive. You’ll partner with regional sales leadership to drive technical wins, coach teams, and contribute to critical deals from a technical sponsorship role.

You will oversee SME coverage, engage with executive stakeholders, and help shape global playbooks while maintaining a distributed, all-remote team

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience leading technical pre-sales, solutions architecture or consulting.
• Hands-on depth in at least one product group and breadth to coach across all four, including AI-enabled development.
• Proven ability to hire and develop high-performing technical specialists or SAs.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a regional team of product SMEs across four groups.
• Collaborate with sales leadership on deal strategy and forecasts.
• Coach SMEs on PoV design, storytelling, and competitive positioning.
