Job summary

GitLab is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to guide prospects and customers through its AI-powered DevSecOps platform across the software lifecycle. You will own technical evaluations, shape architectures, and partner with Account Executives to drive adoption and revenue growth.

The ideal candidate leverages cloud expertise, strong communication, and a customer-first mindset, with a focus on delivering measurable value and maintaining trusted relationships across teams.

Qualifications

• Experience engaging with customers in technical pre-sales or consulting roles.
• Full lifecycle SDLC knowledge including DevSecOps practices.
• Hands-on with GitLab or comparable CI/CD and collaboration platforms.
• Practical knowledge of cloud computing concepts and deployment/security considerations.
• Ability to lead technical evaluations such as proofs of concept or value, and to design and run workshops.
• Clear technical communication for practitioners through to senior decision makers.
• Strong customer advocacy and cross‑functional collaboration.
• Desire to continuously develop professionally and deepen GitLab platform expertise.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery, demos, and validation for GitLab's AI-powered DevSecOps platform across the full lifecycle.
• Own technical evaluation processes, including solution design, PoV/workshops, and tenders.
• Collaborate with Account Executives and regional teams to shape account strategies for new and expanding customers.
• Build and deepen relationships with technical practitioners and business leaders.
• Advise on modern software development, CI/CD, security, and cloud practices, challenging existing approaches.
• Share customer feedback and competitive insights with Product, Engineering, and Marketing.
• Maintain and extend GitLab expertise and create technical collateral for customers and partners.
• Invest in growth and knowledge sharing to strengthen the Solutions Architect team.
