Zusammenfassung

GitLab, the intelligent DevSecOps platform, is seeking a Senior Director, Global SME Solutions Architecture. You will build and lead three regional SME teams across AMER, EMEA, and APJ, shaping strategy, governance and scale for security, platform, core DevSecOps and AI programs.

You will manage regional SME Managers, partner with Sales, Customer Success, Product, Engineering and Marketing, and drive transformation with a data-driven, AI-enabled approach.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of second-line leadership experience managing managers.
• Experience building or scaling a specialist/global SA team in enterprise SaaS or DevSecOps.
• Track record tying technical design to bookings and consumption outcomes.
• Ability to lead through ambiguity and organizational change.
• Strong relationships with Product and Engineering leaders.
• Fluency across SDLC, application security, cloud platforms, Kubernetes and AI-enabled practices.
• Executive presence with technical practitioners and C-level stakeholders.
• Self-starting, entrepreneurial approach.

Aufgaben

• Set strategy, operating model and global standards for the SME organization.
• Build the resourcing model and size product groups by region.
• Partner with Product Management and Engineering to influence roadmap.
• Hire, mentor and develop regional SME Managers and teams.
• Own engagement model with regional Senior Directors, Post-Sales SAs and Customer Success.
• Define processes, metrics and KPIs for SME-driven evaluations and demos.
• Collaborate with CRO and sales leaders on performance and strategy.
• Drive field readiness for product launches with Enablement and Product Marketing.
• Build relationships with customers at technical and executive levels.
• Leverage AI to enhance deal research, demos and PoV automation.
