Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Regional Safety, Health and Environmental Manager 2 to oversee safety programs across multiple profit centers in the United States. You will implement policies, perform audits, train Safety Coordinators and drive regional SH&E strategy.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree in OS&H with 5+ years' experience, are proficient in Excel/Office, and willing to travel. Sunbelt offers competitive benefits and growth opportunities across a national network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health or related field (or equivalent).
• Minimum 5 years in Safety, Health and Environmental Management Systems.
• OHST/CHST/SMS/GSP certification preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare reports and recommend procedures to improve organizational performance.
• Oversee safety protocols at branches within their assigned geographical area.
• Conduct PC safety compliance inspections and audits.
• Provide training and guidance to Safety Coordinators.
• Identify deficiencies and advise on corrective actions.
• Track and trend Regions and Branches safety data.
• Develop annual SH&E business plan with regional targets.
• Lead Safety Coordinator meetings and boot camps.
• Investigate incidents with PCM and safety team.
• Participate in safety meetings and Stand Down events.
