Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals seeks a Safety & Environmental Manager to lead safety programs across multiple Profit Centers in the region. You will oversee compliance, training, audits, and incident investigations while coordinating with PCM, Service Managers, and RVP to shape the SH&E plan.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in OSH or related field, 5+ years of safety experience, and strong communication skills. Travel is expected to meetings and site visits across the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in OSH or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to present in classroom or conference calls.
• Ability to develop and execute strategic plans using leading/lagging indicators.
• Willingness to travel domestically.

Responsibilities

• Prepare reports and recommend procedures to improve performance.
• Oversee safety protocols integrity at profit centers within their regions.
• Conduct safety inspections and audits per schedule and criteria.
• Train Safety Coordinators and assign coordinators at locations.
• Track and trend safety performance across locations.
• Support regional SH&E business planning and annual targets.
• Lead safety coordinator meetings and boot camps.
