Job summary

Kenco Group, a leading 3PL provider, seeks a Regional Service Manager to oversee Service Managers and technicians within a defined region. You will drive operational excellence, ensure profitability on service jobs, and guide teams to meet current and future service needs.

Ideal candidates bring 4+ years in field service or operations, strong leadership, and robust communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office. This role requires up to 75% travel and a results-driven mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience required.
• 4+ years of progressive experience in field service or operations, preferably with material handling or similar equipment.
• Excellent communication, planning, negotiating, troubleshooting, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Experience leading and managing teams with a flexible, adaptable work style.
• Strong written and verbal communication and sophisticated people-management abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with strong PowerPoint and Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements operations procedures to ensure professional, timely customer repair orders, installations, or PM visits and solid profit margins.
• Provides direction to Service Managers and technicians for operational excellence and monitors training processes for quality.
• Sets goals and objectives for Service Managers and technicians to meet service needs.
• Ensures service billing efficiency ratio is at or above 75%.
• Aims to increase utilization of technicians to at least 85%.
• Addresses all service and warranty issues promptly.
• Analyzes profitability of planned maintenance programs.
• Verifies training targets are achieved across areas with established expectations.
• Interacts with key customers to escalate issues and meet service needs.
