Job summary

Kenco Logistics in the United States is seeking a Service Manager for the KFS to lead the service department, supervise technicians, and drive daily shop operations.

You will focus on achieving technician utilization goals, maintaining billing efficiency, managing inventory, and ensuring safety and quality procedures are followed.

This role requires hands-on leadership, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and a commitment to continuous improvement in a fast-paced fleet environment.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of related experience in a service environment.
• Background in fleet service operation or related field.
• Strong leadership, communication, and customer interaction skills.
• Ability to develop and manage training and recruiting programs.
• Proven ability to control costs and improve productivity.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all technicians and daily activities in the service department.
• Ensure technician utilization targets are met and billing efficiency stays above threshold.
• Control labor costs and manage preventative maintenance programs.
• Coordinate work order flow between parts and service and maintain safety standards.
• Maintain paperwork and open communication with internal partners.
• Recruit, train, and evaluate technicians.
