Job summary

Kenco Group in Illinois is seeking a Regional Service Manager to oversee and support Service Managers and technicians within an assigned region to meet Kenco Material Handling Solutions goals and expectations.

You will develop operations procedures, guide teams, monitor training, improve billing efficiency to 75% and achieve 85% technician utilization, while addressing service and warranty issues and ensuring profitability of maintenance programs. Travel ~50–75% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or related required or equivalent years of experience.
• 4+ years of progressive experience in field service or operations, preferably in material handling or similar equipment.
• Excellent communication, planning, negotiating, troubleshooting, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience leading and managing teams with a flexible, adaptable work style.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and sophisticated people management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with strong PowerPoint and Excel skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements operations procedures and guidelines for customer repair orders, installations, or PM visits to ensure solid profit margins.
• Provides direction and guidance to Service Managers and technicians for operational excellence and enforces company policies.
• Sets goals and objectives to meet current and future service needs.
• Ensures service billing efficiency ratio is at or above 75%.
• Aims for technician utilization at or above 85%.
• Addresses service and warranty issues promptly.
• Analyzes and ensures profitability of planned maintenance programs.
• Ensures training targets are achieved and maintained.
