Job summary

Hitachi Energy USA Inc. in South Boston, VA, seeks an experienced Service Operations Manager to lead a regional team of service engineers and technicians. You will coordinate field service delivery, project management support, and ensure performance against customer commitments while optimizing costs and resources.

You will collaborate with sales and service groups to drive customer satisfaction, regional growth, and continuous improvement across service offerings, tools, and processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of Service Operations or Project Management experience; or Associate degree and 7 years of Service Operations or Project Management experience; or High School Diploma / GED and 9 years of Service Operations or Project Management experience.
• Minimum 5 years of transformer service or power product field service experience preferred.
• Experience interacting directly with customers preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 25% preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a regional team of Service Engineers and Service Technicians.
• Coordinate service activities across on-site and off-site locations.
• Ensure compliance with customer agreements, quality, schedule, and cost targets.
• Collaborate with sales and service teams to support customer satisfaction, retention, and regional growth.
