Job summary

HITACHI ENERGY USA INC seeks a GIS Field Service Manager to lead the field service team and oversee operations supporting high‑voltage power system equipment. You will set goals, implement cost‑effective plans, and ensure service quality, contract compliance, and safety.

Collaborate with Sales and operations to pursue opportunities and improve customer satisfaction. You will guide technical teams, develop capabilities, and ensure adherence to Hitachi policies while traveling domestically

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Eight to ten years of relevant industry experience in electrical power, energy, utility, or related technology sectors.
• Three years of people management experience in a project-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and take full ownership of the GIS field service team.
• Establish organizational goals and implement cost-effective operating plans.
• Oversee high-voltage field service operations, service quality, customer responsiveness, and contractual compliance.
• Develop customer relationships and coordinate strategies that support customer satisfaction and company interests.
• Collaborate with Sales and commercial operations on business opportunities and contract pursuits.
• Promote fair treatment, resolve workplace conflicts, and manage employee coaching and development.
• Improve operations through ongoing reviews, remedial actions, and productivity tools.
• Provide technical guidance and support to senior managers while promoting independent action.
• Ensure compliance with external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
