Job summary

Canon U.S.A., Inc. is seeking a Sales Team Leader to manage a diverse sales team selling Canon’s PPS products, including hardware, software, solutions and services.

You will maintain team unity, coach staff, and forecast pipelines via Salesforce.com, while ensuring high ethical standards and policy adherence. The role requires up to 40% travel, a bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 7+ years of related experience and management of at least two full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience required, plus 7 years of related experience and management of typically two or more regular full-time employees (one of whom must be exempt).
• Requires up to 40% travel (valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record necessary) including overnights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Meet and/or exceed revenue requirements set by management and maintain balanced performance among team members.
• Maintain appropriate staffing levels and attract/retain key sales talent through HR processes.
• Develop personnel for career advancement and enhance team skills and knowledge.
• Implement sales management processes and forecast accurately via Salesforce.com.
• Develop knowledge of Canon products, programs, pricing, and policies and build relationships with large accounts.
• Lead development of high-level account strategies across procurement, finance, IT and all Canon offerings.
