• Responsible for planning, controlling and directing regional programs, and activities related to sales functions, and customer service.
• Maintain adequate field, industrial, and competitive contacts to anticipate market developments and inform policy.
• Establish areas of responsibility for sales management and take corrective action.
• Provide sales personnel with time and territory management training.
• Supervise and assist sales staff to deepen market knowledge and maintain high customer relations.
• Monitor pricing, purchasing and contract adherence for the region.
• Manage regional inventory, receivables, expenses and budget; analyze results and implement changes.
• Prepare management reports and presentations as required.
• Collaborate with purchasing, distribution and accounting to review schedules and inventory levels.
• Visit service centers to review sales, inventory, stocking objectives and communicate goals.
