Applied Industrial Technologies is seeking a proven Director/Leader to build and oversee a regional industrial sales organization. You will drive sales strategy, lead a high-performing team, manage end-to-end sales processes, and coordinate multi-location operations including Inside sales, Warehouse, and Pipe Fabrication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, in Industrial Distribution, or a related field.
• Proven track record of success in technical sales, with a focus on industrial products such as valves, instrumentation, filtration, and specialty pipe.
• Proven leadership abilities with experience managing sales teams and driving performance.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Manage and exceed P & L goals from sales, profit margins, territory development and customer development.

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to penetrate existing markets and explore new opportunities within the industrial sector.
• Lead and motivate the industrial sales team to achieve sales targets and exceed customer expectations.
• Oversee the entire sales process from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness at every stage.
• Collaborate with senior management to create annual sales budgets and monitor performance against targets.
• Develop comprehensive sales plans aligned with company objectives, incorporating market analysis, competitor insights, and customer needs.
• Cultivate strong relationships with key customers and partners, providing exceptional service and support to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Maintain a deep understanding of our product portfolio, industry trends, and technological advancements to position our solutions effectively.
• Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for the sales team to enhance their product knowledge, sales skills, and customer engagement abilities.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to the sales team, identifying areas for improvement and implementing action plans for growth.
• Manage local managers at multiple locations to ensure operational efficiency for Inside sales, Warehouse and Pipe Fabrication
