Job summary

IDEX is seeking a Regional Sales Executive for North America, focused on growing sales through new business and managing key accounts within the Microfluidics business unit. The role requires strong knowledge of powder handling and processing, with travel to customer sites and events.

Remote-based from Texas or nearby states, you will forecast diligently, coordinate demonstrations, and collaborate with marketing to optimize lead generation and customer engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing and/or Engineering.
• Extensive experience in industry field sales, ideally capital goods equipment.
• Knowledge of powder handling and powder processing theory is important
• Experience with particle size reduction, blending and screening technologies advantageous
• A valid driver’s license is essential.

Responsibilities

• Identify industry trends and develop action plans aligned with company strategy.
• Develop new sales opportunities via web research, emails, calls and events.
• Manage key accounts to retain clients and grow revenue.
• Qualify opportunities using established criteria.
• Coordinate site visits, demos, and user requirement specifications.
• Forecast sales accurately by month, quarter, and year.
• Support marketing with market data and case studies.
• Prepare compelling presentations and process flows for customers.
• Maintain CRM updates daily with visits, quotes, and forecasts.
