Job summary

IDEX seeks a strategic sales professional to accelerate growth across North America from a remote base in Texas, with extensive travel to South America. You will develop opportunities, manage key accounts, and coordinate with marketing while forecasting using CRM data.

Ideal candidates hold a BA/Marketing/Engineering degree, have capital goods sales experience, and are fluent in Spanish; Portuguese is a plus. A valid driver’s license and regular travel are required.

Qualifications

• Spanish fluency in written and spoken communication is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or Engineering or equivalent.
• Extensive experience in industry field sales, preferably capital goods equipment.
• Valid driver’s license is essential.
• Remote-based from Texas or surrounding states with extensive travel to South America.

Responsibilities

• Identify industry, customer and competitive trends to generate new business opportunities.
• Manage key accounts and increase revenue through relationship building and effective account management.
• Coordinate demonstrations, trials and proposals with customers and internal teams.
• Forecast accurately by month, quarter and year using established methods.
• Travel regularly to customer sites, exhibitions and events and support marketing activities.
