Job summary

Fire-Dex, Inc. is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to drive growth and profitability for new and existing accounts. The position is home-office based with significant travel across the territory, including dealer and customer visits.

The ideal candidate has strong relationship-building skills, experience in multi-step distribution, and knowledge of the fire industry. Public safety or government sales experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Required: sales territory management experience.
• End-user selling skills and multi-step distribution knowledge.
• Fire industry experience strongly preferred.
• Public safety or government sales experience preferred.
• Account management experience required.
• Must live in the territory and work from home office.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage relationships with regional fire departments and distributors.
• Develop and present sales presentations and demonstrations.
• Act as business advisor to distributor executives.
• Conduct classroom and in-field distributor training.
• Coordinate sales activities with dealers.
• Travel for events and HQ visits as needed.
• Record competitive data and sales strategies.
• Manage travel multiple days per year with overnights.
