Job summary

Fire-Dex is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to drive growth across the territory from a home office. The role emphasizes building relationships with regional fire departments and distributors, delivering sales presentations, and guiding distributor sales teams.

You will travel extensively (about 110–130 days annually, with 90–100 overnights) and manage end-user and distributor accounts while leveraging CRM and ERP systems to track performance and opportunities.

Qualifications

• Sales territory management experience required.
• Sales experience in multi-step distribution and end-user selling required.
• Experience within the fire industry strongly preferred.
• Public safety or government business/sales experience preferred.
• Account management experience.
• Must live in the territory; relocation not included.
• Strong problem-solving skills in multi-variable scenarios.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, PowerPoint and Excel.
• CRM (Salesforce) and ERP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and present sales presentations to regional fire departments and distributors.
• Manage and grow assigned sales territory and key accounts.
• Train distributor sales representatives both in classroom and field.
• Coordinate sales activities with dealers and provide business advisory support.
• Travel 110–130 days per year with 90–100 overnights.
• Gather, record and update competitive data and sales strategies.
• Leverage CRM (Salesforce) and ERP to track opportunities and orders.
• Work from a home office and reside in the territory.
