Job summary

Fire-Dex, Inc. is seeking a driven sales professional to manage regional fire department accounts and distributor partnerships across the United States. You will develop presentations, expand market reach, and drive end-user adoption of PPE and services.

The role requires strong relationship-building, multi-step distribution experience, and willingness to travel 110-130 days per year with 90-100 overnights. Home-office-based in your territory within Colorado is preferred.

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent.
• Sales territory management experience required.
• Sales experience in multi-step distribution management with end-user selling skills required.
• Experience within the fire industry strongly preferred.
• Public safety or government business/sales experience also preferred.
• Account management experience.
• Ability to work from a home office and must live in the territory (relocation not included).
• Strong communication skills – verbal, electronic and written.
• Possess strong presentation skills.
• High travel: 110-130 days per year, with 90-100 overnights.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
• Familiar with CRM and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Relationship building and management
• Generating direct contact with end-users and build strong, strategic relationships
• Distributor management to maximize revenue and market penetration
• Developing and presenting sales presentations and demonstrations to regional fire departments and distributors
• Creating product specifications for end-users
• Coordinating and supporting sales activities with dealers
• Organizing, setting up and exhibiting at regional trade shows, as appropriate
• Occasionally hosting dealer and/or customer visits to our corporate office and factory in Medina OH
